HERE'S YOUR NORTHERN ILLINOIS MARCH 2021 MARKET UPDATE

McHenry County: We saw a 46% increase in homes sold month over month, and a 6% increase compared to March of last year. New listings increased from February by about 38%.

Lake County: We saw about a 46% increase in homes sold month over month, and a 25% increase compared to March of last year. New listings increased from February by about 35%.

Cook County: We saw about a 56% increase in homes sold month over month, and a 28% increase compared to March of last year. New listings increased from February by about 43%.

We are definitely seeing the impact of the busy first couple months of this year translating into homes sold numbers in March. And in true Spring Market fashion, we are seeing increases in new listings. However, this inventory is quickly getting gobbled up by buyers. So, we still need more listings to help meet buyer demand.
